General CSA Questions

1. How does a customizable CSA work?
Unlike traditional CSAs with pre-packed boxes, our CSA lets you choose exactly what you want each week. You place an order from our available produce and grains, and we pack a box just for you. Your CSA balance works like a debit account—each order deducts from your pre-paid share.

2. What do I get each week?
That’s up to you! We offer a variety of fresh, organic vegetables, fruits, and grains. You'll see what’s available each week and select what you want before we pack your share.

3. What if I forget to place my order?
If you don’t place an order for the week, no problem! Your balance rolls over, and you can use it in future weeks.

​

4. What if I go on vacation or miss a week?
Since there’s no set box, you won’t lose your share! You can skip a week and order extra another time, or use up your balance later in the season.

Pick-Up & Logistics

5. Where and when do I pick up my share?
We have multiple pick-up locations:

  • North Bend

    • Frisky Girl Farm (Tuesday)

    • Tollgate Barn (Tuesday)

  • Fall City

    • Steel Wheel Farm (Tuesday or Friday)

  • Issaquah

    • The Well and Table (Friday)

  • Seattle, Wedgewood (Saturday)

  • Seattle (U District Farmers Market – Saturdays, 9 AM–2 PM)

Each location has a fridge to keep your share fresh until you pick it up.

6. Can I change my pick-up location?
Yes! You can change your pick up location one time during the season by sending us an email

7. Can I change my pick up day?

No, all of our pick up days are set. However, all of our locations feature a fridge so your share will stay fresh until you’re able to pick it up. 

Payments & Costs

8. Can I add more money to my CSA account mid-season?
Yes! If you run low on funds, you can add more credit to your account at any time.

9. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We understand that paying upfront can be a challenge, so we offer flexible payment options. Just select the payment plan option on our ordering site.

10. What if I don’t know what to cook with my veggies and grains?
We send a weekly digital newsletter with farm updates, a featured Veggie of the Week, and recipe ideas to help you make the most of your CSA share.

11. Is the produce organic?
Yes! All our produce is organically grown using sustainable farming practices.

​

12. Can I split a share with a friend or family member?
Absolutely! You and a friend can share an account and order together. Just know that you must have the same pick up location and will only be able to place one order per week.
